Social Value Proposition

The Social Value Proposition field is where you write about the value that your social enterprise offers. This value could be in the form of programs or products/services that help to meet the needs and challenges of beneficiaries, customers, and funding stakeholders. You’ll need to think about what these groups need and how your project can help them, and explain it in this field.

Questions:

  • Clearly define the offer of your organization to help people. Name the key product or service?
  • Who are these people that will benefit by the above service of product of our organization? Clearly define your target beneficiaries e.g., homeless in my region, addicted individuals in my community, lack of playgrounds in my neighborhood.
  • How will your product or service is different from others in terms of value or makes people’s life better? Identify 1-2 value points with simple phrases e.g. accessible, user-friendly, fully green, inclusive, sustainable emotional, for everyone etc.,

Guidance

Tips for filling in the Social Value Proposition field:

  • Clearly state the key product/service your organization provides and its purpose. For example, We’re creating a gardening program for kids to learn about growing their own food and how to take care of the environment.
  • Specify your target beneficiaries and their needs/challenges. For example, “We’re helping families in our community by providing affordable access to healthy food through our community garden.
  • Explain the unique value of your product/service. Use simple phrases to highlight 1-2 key points, such as accessibility, sustainability, inclusivity. For example, Our project connects kids with nature and helps build a sense of community, while also promoting healthy and sustainable living.
