This module is divided into four submodules that provide a comprehensive overview of scientific evidence for climate change, followed by environmental challenges in several sectors and useful insights on the impacts of a warmer world in the 21st century. Moreover, the module provides a tool for calculating ecological footprint and focuses on case studies and examples found in different EU regions. Practices and examples addressing environmental problems through social innovation and social entrepreneurship are presented and how students as individuals can take action to avoid a warmer world are discussed!
