Social Mission

The Social Mission field is where you write about the purpose and focus of your social enterprise. You want to make it short and sweet, so it’s easy for people to understand.

Start by explaining what problem you’re trying to solve and which people you’re trying to help. Then, tell us what you’re going to do to fix the problem. Finally, let us know what you hope to change as a result of your project.

Questions:

  • Who are we trying to help with our project?
  • What problem are we trying to solve?
  • What are we going to do to fix this problem?
  • How will our project make a difference for the people we’re trying to help?
  • What change do we hope to see as a result of our project?

To help you design your own social mission, please fill in the fields below:

Guidance:

  • In the first part, specify the group of people or community that you wish to help with your project.
  • Next, clearly define the specific social problem that you aim to solve.
  • In the following section, explain the specific solution or action that your social enterprise will implement to address the problem. This can include a product, service, or business model.
  • In the next part, explain how your project will make a difference for the people you are trying to help.
  • Lastly, specify the change or impact that you hope to see as a result of your project. This can include an improvement in a specific area, a change in behavior, or an increase in the number of people impacted.
